For my 13-year-old son and me, Jens and Flo made fantastic running sightseeing partners. We met them at the agreed location and enjoyed a lovely jog along the Rhine, taking in the beautiful scenery of Düsseldorf along the way. They shared interesting local history, pointed out key landmarks and areas of interest, and gave us some great tips and recommendations for our stay. They also tailored the run perfectly to suit our ability level. With the temperature reaching 31°C, we opted for the shorter 6km route instead of the standard 8km, which worked really well. It was such a unique and enjoyable way to explore Düsseldorf, and my son especially loved it. He also had the chance to practise his German by chatting with Flo throughout the run, which was a real highlight for him. We’d absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the city. It’s a great mix of fitness, sightseeing and great company. We also took up their recommendation to visit Takumi afterwards as a reward for our run — and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Thank you, Jens and Flo!

My boyfriend and I like to run in every city that we visit so I was so excited when I found Run2Know for our trip to Düsseldorf. Jens was so easy to work with, great communication and very accommodating. When the day of our run finally arrived it was super cold and windy, not the greatest running conditions for this Florida girl. But Jens and Flo were super friendly and fun to run with, letting me set the pace and decide when I was done. They also gave us some great recommendations for things to do while in town. Excellent tour, highly recommended!

Really great run. I did the XXL run and the guys made the 14km fly by with their stories along the way. I saw and learned so much about Dusseldorf. Definitely would run with them again.

Danke an Jens und keep on running!

I did my Run2Know race last Sunday, 11.05. I highly recommend it to any new resident of Düsseldorf. You don’t need to be an experienced runner—the two organizers adapt to your pace. They can offer routes along the Rhine or through downtown Düsseldorf. Along the way, not only do you get to see the city’s main landmarks, but you also hear interesting anecdotes about them and get great tips on restaurants & bars. In short, a great outing with two very friendly organizers!

I really enjoyed my run through Dusseldorf with Jens and Flo. They set up a nice course along the river, through green parks in the downtown area, and across several bridges which afforded nice views. They also offer other routes through the city. Jens and Flo were enjoyable to talk with, and I immediately felt like we had been running together for years. It was interesting to hear about some of the history and culture of the area, and they shared some funny as well as serious stories about the region. I am very glad I signed up for this run, and I would highly recommend Run2know to runners visiting the area.

Weiter so!
